Compassionate Support for Life’s Challenges

Do you need help making changes in your life? Do you want to change how you feel -tired of being angry, depressed, anxious, or ashamed? Or maybe you want to change your behavior – tired of feeling out of control with food, alcohol, working too much, or over-spending. Or perhaps you’re looking for help in changing how you think and feel about yourself and your relationships. Do you want to feel safe, secure, and joyful in your life rather than alone, empty, and out of control?

For over 20 years I have been a coach and therapist helping people change patterns in their lives that interfere with their health and happiness. I will help you learn how to connect to your inner wisdom, courage, and strength rather than your negative inner voice. You can change how you think and feel about yourself and have a sense of peace, confidence, and joy in your life, and a deeper feeling of love and self acceptance.

As an Eating Disorder Specialist I have worked for over 25 years supporting individuals with their recovery from anorexia, bulimia, and compulsive overeating. I believe that the compulsive behaviors of eating disorders act as a survival mechanism to help the ED sufferer cope with their past hurts and present day stressors. Working together we will use your brain’s natural healing ability to overcome the compulsive behaviors of your eating disorder and learn new coping techniques so you have effective survival skills to handle life’s challenges.

Using cutting edge brain-based methods, such as EMDR, Lifespan Integration, and Emotional Brain Training (The Solution Method) I can help you create a life of balance, happiness, and inner peace.

Individual Therapy or Coaching: I will work to help you overcome past hurts that keep you stuck in unrewarding, hurtful patterns and an unfulfilled life.  Working together we will explore past hurts and use the brain’s natural information processing system to overcome self-defeating emotions, thoughts, and behaviors so you can let go of limiting beliefs and experience more joy and satisfaction in your life.

Group Therapy: As a certified Trainer in Emotional Brain Training, I have over 10 years of experience using one of the most effective body-mind-spirit lifestyle programs in the country. Based on cutting edge neuroscience, Emotional Brain Training was developed at University of California at San Francisco and is designed to re-train your emotional, thinking and behavioral patterns to support a more balanced life.
